Are there any really good optical or laser mice that work really good with Vista on a laptop? I bought a
Notebook optical mouse 3000 from Microsoft and I still can't get it to work with the screen saver.
The mouse works but the laptops screen saver will never kick in.

I have had the same problem with the Microsoft 6000 series keyboard/mouse combo with XP. Don't know why this is yet. I am going to try newest driver to see if that works...

It really depends what you intend to do with this. I use Logitech G7 Cordless Mouse, but I'm a harcore gamer, so I need the presition of this mouse. I've had very good expiriences with Logitech, they have good products, I've owned MX500, MX518 and MX1000.
I plan to buy Razer Copperhead because many friends have told me it performs better, I really doubt it, just because Logitech is a lazer mouse and Razer is optical (lazer mices work in every surface you can imagine, and optical have limits).

OK back in the topic I sugest Logitech, they have a wide variety of mouses and have great tecnology in them. they last long, and give extreme presition. But again it depens what you intend to do with it.
