I have a Sony VAIO laptop. Everytime I reboot it gives an error "Apoint.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconvenience." Everything seems to be working well, but the error is annoying. Any help would be appreciated.

Apoint.exe is a Alps Pointing-device driver. It is not needed and it can be uninstalled.
