Hello all,

I'm new to the forum -- please pardon any gaffs I make. I'm hoping someone might be willing to advise me on a browser hijack problem. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.2 and often when I use a search engine & click on a link in the result list, I am either told by Firefox that it can't load the page or the browser is directed to various different adult porn sites (my-finder.net, bdsmbizarre, wbr4.com, etc.). When I check the Source code for many of these pages, the code is extremely brief but does mention 64.28.178.4/index.php. This is after I've scanned my PC with Ad-aware, Spybot, and Symantic Antivirus. While I'm not a total computer naif, I'm guessing my computing skills are somewhat olde. I would appreciate any advice or help offered. I downloaded and ran Hijack this, and this is the report:

Hi Richie UK,

You're a lifesaver  After I loaded the new Java version, I tried a few of the searches that seemed to trigger the hijacker program, and nothing out of the ordinary happened. Thanks so much for all your patience and help!
