Surfed into this very helpful site recently...immediately afterwards my 'puter succumbed to parasitic overload, unfortunately. I'm using a friend's PC to find the help I need here to download and take home to nurse it back to it's former glory. How is it that just when I get it all configured just how I like it, it gets struck low by the  lowlifes who live to corrupt, waste and destroy what the rest of work to create? <sigh>

Well, Pollyanna that I am, I haven't given up hope, and I'm even more determined to deprive these faceless depraved sociopaths the pleasure of breaching my security again. It's so nice to see such a wonderful group of people dedicated to sharing their experience. It's really impressive, and I needed a little "lift".

Well, I'm not really one to talk much about myself: I'd rather listen, but wanted to take this opportunity to say "Hello".

Knowing how your computer works and how easily malware can get on your hard drive, and using good applications to help you, is the key to secure use of the internet.
You will find, in the Tutorials and in the forums themselves, solid information and suggestions. And, as you already know, help is but a post away here at BC.
Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one should be silent.
