every time someone logs in to our comuter this window pops up and says:

This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

But it gives me no option to install and i have searched in my progeams etc. ans i have no idea what it is a part of. I even performed a search here and it hasn't come up here either. As far as I can tell my computer is working correctly but i guess there must be somehting out of place for this to keep popping up. Has anybody had this happen? And how do i fix it?

This can be due to a recently installed program looking for another version of the Msvcr80.dll I'd suggest reviewing what you've installed recently to see if you can update the programs to correct this error.

There is a method of dll redirection using .local to force the program to look in a local directory (local to the program) rather than the path statement for the correct version of the dll.
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
