Welcome to BC

First things first, you have Hijackthis running in an incorrect location. Please move hijackthis to a permanent place on your drive etc. C:\Program Files\ Folder. Then post a fresh HIjackthis log and an uninstall list. Here are the instructions for getting the uninstall list.

Open Hijackthis, Click Open the Misc tools section Then click the Open Uninstall Manager... button.
The Add/Remove Programs Manager panel should appear.
In this panel click the Save list button.
Save the uninstall_list.txt file to your desktop and copy and paste the contents back in your next reply.

i cant move hijthis to a permanant place. i follow directions when downloading, but when i unzip it doesnt unzip any where and since that recovery win zip not on computer and as far as the msconfig goes. my internet wasnt working so i called my internet provider and they told me to go into msconfig and i told them when i had on start up and they told me to disabe what might of been causing the no internet problem. i can tell you what i have in start up now. but i dont remmebr what was disabled. mainly my regular startup programs like yahoo mess. n other messengers. and something he might thought was a spyware. ok.

This is what is in my start up
Jusched
hpsysdrv
hkcmd
KBD
Realsched
recguard
vttimer
agrsmmsg
ps2
zlclient
alcxmntr
igfxtray
ituneshelper
yahoom~1
msnmsgr
aim 6
msmsgs
comaq connections
quicker scheduled
comaq organize
im start
limewire at start up

Thats all the start up programs.

I want to know how to get back everything from before my system recovery. I am never listening to anyone outside this program about what i could do to my computer. I lost everything and want it back. i still cant download nothing off internet now. How can i go back to time before system recovery to get my computer to then again?

Well, it looks like you might not of been alloowing access to the internet via ZoneAlarm. Do you you remember getting a Yellow popup from Zonealarm asking for permission to allow you to get online???? If you used Windows System Restore you shouldn't lose any saved files. But some programs may have to be re-downloaded. What programs are you talking about???

This wasnt a system restore. this was a recovery. pressing f10 or f11 button. i shouldnt of done it. do you see anything wrong with my computer. No i didnt get any pop ups from zone alarm. Do you see any infections or anything that might be bothering my computer? Well the recovery makes you lose everything and boots back to the day you buy the computer and you lose stuff. thats what i did. I didnt do system restore. i know what those are. I did a recovery and lost all my computer updates and everything. help?
