I was trying to get my computer to recognize a new external hard drive and I was having trouble getting it to recognize the new drive. At some point in the process I accidentally wiped my existing hard drive of everything I had. I have no back up (dumb move) except my songs are still on my ipod. I think if I plug my ipod into the computer I might be able to get the songs back but I really want to get all my pics, etc. back too. Am I screwed?
Is it installed correctly? You might try reinstalling it. There's another free program called Drive Rescue, also based on PC Inspector's engine. It's Italian based, but I believe there's an English language option. http://www.ilsoftware.it/dl.asp?ID=457
