so i bought a new pc today... only 1400.00... and it came with vista on it... i would have prefered to install it myself.
after much exploration and confusion i realized my pc wont play ANY of my fave. games...
 how do i go back to xp(have disks) on a new pc that has only ever known vista?(no disks)
my pc only came with a disk to show what im missing with a vista upgrade... i have vista home premium on it now and hate it with a passion.
my old pc wont do and my new one has a os that can only check my email and hold pic... and i bought it for games

If you have the XP disks then you can just reformat the HDD and install XP.

Check out this link for some information.

While you can format your hard drive and install XP - what are you going to do when a new game comes out written for Vista and DX10?
