When I click on links within a page while using explorer as my browser they don't work. If I copy and paste the link into the bar..they work fine. If I use another browser they work fine. It's just in Explorer they won't take me THERE. Any ideas???

This is usually caused by a pop-up blocker.
Check any security applications that you have installed to see if they contain that feature.

You might also want to check any IE toolbars that you may have installed.
The Google toolbar is one that includes a pop-up blocker.

Oh,you can also go to Control Panel/ Internet Options and click on the Privacy tab. You can turn off the built-in IE pop up blocker there or change the "Filter level" by clicking on the Settings button.

Good Luck!

I can try those ideas but I didn't add any new tools or programs when this started to occur.

Which antivirus and firewall do you have? Do you have the MVPS hostfile installed?

Maybe this M$ article; You Cannot Open a New IE Window or Nothing Occurs After You Click a Link will help.
