Having problems with Netscape freezing and then releasing. McAfee doesnt show any malware or spyware. I have reloaded Netscape, still its doing the same.

What am I missing here?

There must be some issue I cant locate.

Thanks.

The best is, before going through all the assumptions to go into eventviewer.
START RUN and type eventvwr. Look for any red crosses under the three segments and post them here

When precisely does it freeze? When you move between URLS, when you open the browser, when you open a new browser window?
