Hey everyone, I was wondering if you could provide me with some direction on how to fix this computer.

What happens is when I turn the system on, it boots up normally until it gets to windows, immediately I get the blue screen of death. It puts out this error message:

Stop: 0000021a Fatal System Erorr
the other digits it displays are:
0xc 0000022 (0x00000000 0x00000000)

I can load the system into safe mode just fine.

I've just tried the memtest and went through 3 passes on all 11 tests, everything checked out.. When I goto bed tonight I'm gonna run the full test.

I dobuled checked to see if there were any virus' or malware that might be causing anything using AVG's free programs, ad-aware and spybot S&D.

I ran a chkdsk and everything was fine, I went to event viewer and there didn't seem to be many events if any related to it. I can show you guys the event viewer logs if needed (there were 1200 system and 788 application items).

Can you guys provide me with any direction?

Have you run anti antivirus or antispyware software? It is possibly your system is infected. Have you added any USB devices or any hardware? Have you updated your drivers recently?

Here's a link to the error: http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.php#0x21a

This reflects corruption of the security of the OS - so it's a very critical error. The most likely cause (IMO) is an infection - I'd suggest another scan of the system to see if anything "snuck by" your current protection.

FWIW - I'd try running ClamWin Portable from a flash drive or ClamWin from a CD in Safe Mode (don't forget to update the definitions).

My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
