Hi,

I' m running os xp media center sp2

I recently migrated my settings, files and programs using Laplinks PCmover (it came with my new machine). One of the features with this software is once you start your new machine a display comes up listing the applications that load at start up. Some of these applications have been disabled by PCmove for what ever reason (why I' m not sure). It continues to run this display until you disable it (which I hav'nt done yet). One of the apps. it has disabled is hotkeyscmds hkcmd module. My question is should I leave it disabled or enable it.

Thanks for any help you can give me with this!!!!

Do you use any special keys on the keyboard for launching stuff? If not, disable it.

This program (as I recall) sets up the "special" keys on some keyboards (things like launching the internet or a media player).
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.

Hey John,
Thanks for your reply. I don't use any special keys to launch programs. Just F5, F11 and a couple others that are working fine. I'll leave it disabled. thanks again.
