DEAR FRIENDS
I HAD SOME COLLECTIONS OF SOFTWARES AND MOVIES IN C DRIVE.I COPIED THESE IN D DRIVE AND THEN FORMATTED C DRIVE AND LOADED WINDOWS XP.UNFORTUNATELY NOW IAM UNABLE TO READ THE CONTENT.IT SAYS TO FORMAT,BUT IN DOS MODE I CAN SEE THE DIRECTORIES.CAN ANYBODY GUIDE ME RECOVER THE DATA

You can use the Ultimate Boot CD to burn the data to CD or DVD.
If you have the room on the C: partition you could use UBCD to drag&drop your files from the second partition to the primary partition, format the second partition and move the files back.
