My homepage has been Hi Jacked by a site trying to sell me security softwear. I scan with Norton Anti Virus it says alls well but I can't get my homepage back, it is still on the site of the Hijacker ! also the system alert balloon keeps popping up and directing me to this site. I am not really up to speed with IT so please any advice is really appreciated but keep it simple ! Thanks

If it's showing you a specific name eg Spysherif, spydawn there's a self help section here

Spyware and Malware Removal Guides and Reading Room

you may want to look thru. If you have posted the HJ log then make no changes to your PC. his is intended as Self help prior to a HJ posting.

How do I get help? Who is helping me?For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear....Become a BleepingComputer fan: Facebook
