I cannot log in to a computer parts supplier !! When i try i receive this message=

FATAL ERROR Register Globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!
Can anyone help urgently please ?

Please follow the below instructions...

1) Go to your control panel and then click on File manager.

2) In your file manager, enter the public_html folder.

3) In the public_html folder you will see a file called .htaccess,

a) Select the .htaccess file and click edit.

4) Copy and paste the below at the bottom of .htaccess file and save it:

php_value register_globals 1

This will turn your register_globals on and your script will work properly.

Thank you fozzie,will follow your instructions,although am not quite sure how to copy and paste!! The computer parts supplier who's web site this is happening to supplied me with a new motherboard, on receipt i found three missing items including the support CD. Could they have cut me off ?

Push the left button of the mouse and select the text until it is blue
push CTRL button and C and after that CTRL button and V.

Yes he has cut yoyu short. Would lodge a formal complaint in writing

More probs Fozzie, I am running win/home/ed, and on opening control panel I find that I do not have" File Manager" What now ? Then again
if indeed the supplier has cut me off, can this be altered by going through your described proc'edure ?
