When using Excel spreadsheets our firm always sets the "calc" function to "manual". Randomly, and for no apparent reason the spreadsheet will change to "autocalc" and perform this function everytime the spreadsheet is opened. How can I fix this?

Are you the only one with access to these spreadsheets?

If the spreadsheets are saved with AutoCalc disabled, it may be that someone using the sheet later is enabling it for a purpose and then forgetting to reset it. If the problem were with the application, one would expect it to be consistent.
