Hey there

I use winamp, and would like to be able to use the media buttons on my microsoft natural ergonomic keyboard 4000... however, they do not work with winamp... they work with most other programs such as windows media player, and media player classic... but the buttons (e.g. play/pause, next, back), will rarely work with winamp... it seems to be completely random when they do work, and for months i have tried to find a pattern but cannot!

the program i use to configure my keyboard is microsoft intellitype pro

whats going on here? is there any way to fix this problem? i like winamp, and would like to keep using it, but i really want my media keys to work properly with it

colin

Try to select, in Winamp, the under options Global Hotkeys. That did the trick for me

success!

i think i figured out the problem... i have to DISABLE the global hotkeys in winamp, and then the medaia keys on the keyboard will automatically work...

just clear the box that says enable, and it should work!
