hi i want to know how to dump all and i mean all the programs from my comp so i can start fresh with a clean slate? thanks for the help

Download a bootdisk from here:

http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm

The windows 98 se one should be fine. Read the instruction at the bottom on how to make the bootdisk. Reboot with the disk in and run fdisk. Then delete all your partitions and volumes. Then boot with your Operating System CD and install a new OS
