Well today I just purchased a ATI Radeon 9250 video card for my pc. I installed it and restarted like it instructed me to do. But now I have no start menu. My computer acts like it is on the right side of the screen because if I minimize something it goes to the right. But there is no start menu bar there. And if I press the windows key on the keyboard it doesn't bring up the start menu like it normally does. Any suggestions on what to do? I appreciate any help provided.

Did you remove the drivers for the old graphics card first before you removed it and put in the ATI?

Duh, I forgot to remove the old drivers but it was the slot on the motherboard so how do I disable that one.

Yea but I got it now. I uninstalled some Nvidia Gart Driver and restarted and now it works like a charm.

Cool! Sometimes it's the most simple thing that is overlooked.

Yea but I still have another problem now. My mouse likes to be able to go off the right side of the screen now. Like completely off the side past the scroll bar gone lol.

If it is an optical mouse turn it over and blow any dust, hair or etc. from the hole in the bottom. Also use it on a solid dark colored surface. If it is a ball mouse pop the ball out and clean it.

Nope I figured out the problem eventually. The new video card was set for dual monitors because I don't know how to set up the dual monitors though I would love that. So I had to turn off the second monitor and restart my pc and the problem is fixed now. Because when you move the mouse to the right it would have went to the other monitor but the other monitor not being there it just disappeared.
