That is a lag problem.

It could be a number of things,

You need to tweak your in-game network settings
Your internet connection and/or ISP has problems (that could include something with a router as well)
The game server has problems

I've tried every possible set of rates and it's not the server. I haven't ruled out my ISP, but the thing is I only have problems when playing CS. I've also had Time Warner for years and never had problems in CS.

Could this be related to my video card problems?

my brother has a similiar problem but his is only with certain servers i was just wonderin if you have tried it with a different server? ive also heard that sometimes if you reinstall CS that can work too although you may want to leave that as a last resort because of the amount of time it takes.

I have re-installed, and like I said it happens on any server.
