Please tell me if you can find these three files on your HDD:

C:\WINDOWS\msras.exe.
C:\WINDOWS\ras.dll.
C:\WINDOWS\dialer.dat.
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?

Read carefully, this is changed.

Download System Security Suite here:
System Security Suite Download & Tutorial. Unzip it to your desktop.
Install the program. Don't use it yet.

Download KillBox here: KillBox. Unzip it to your desktop.

Click "Replace on Reboot" and check the "Use Dummy" box.

Copy and paste the following file to the field labeled "Full path of file to delete"
C:\WINDOWS\IAU.EXE

Press the Delete button (the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it).

A first dialog box will ask if you want to replace the file on reboot, press the YES button.

A second dialog box will ask you if you want to REBOOT now. Press the NO button.

Repeat steps above for these files:
(Don't forget to check each time the "Use Dummy" box)

C:\WINDOWS\STISVSQ.EXE

C:\WINDOWS\SVSHOST.EXE

C:\WINDOWS\MSQDEVL.EXE

C:\WINDOWS\LSSAS.EXE

C:\WINDOWS\MSERVICE.EXE

C:\WINDOWS\ras.dll

C:\WINDOWS\msras.exe

Click "Replace on Reboot" and check the "Use Dummy" box.
Copy and paste the following file to the field labeled "Full path of file to delete"
C:\WINDOWS\dialer.dat

Click the "Delete File" button which looks like a stop sign.

A first dialog box will ask if you want to replace the file on reboot, press the YES button.

A second dialog box will ask you if you want to REBOOT now. Press the YES button.

Your computer will reboot.

Run HijackThis!, press Scan, and put a check mark next to all these:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://easy-search.biz
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://easy-search.biz
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings,ProxyServer = 127.0.0.1:8080

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

It is strongly recommended that you back up the registry before making any changes to it.

Go to Start --> Run, and type regedit in the Open box, then click OK

Navigate to these keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

and delete these values:
Microsoft Internet Acceleration Utility
Internet Connection Wizard
Games Acceleration
Internet Mail and News
Microsoft Management Console
Multimedia extensions

Open Internet Explorer, then click Tools --> Internet Options --> LAN settings --> make sure "Use a proxy server..." is NOT checked --> OK.

In Programs tab of Internet Options, click "Reset Web Settings" --> OK.

With all windows and browsers closed.

Actually, it took me right back to that EZ-Biz site. I realized, though, that I manually emptied the temp folders before I read on and realized I was supposed to do it with SSS. I'll run through the whole process again and upload a new log.
