Hi, may name larry and this is my first post.
My nephew downloaded an .exe file from a p2p program. When he opened it, it was not what he thought it was. When my wife connected to the internet she started receiving pop-ups, she all so was phished for our isp username and password. I have since changed those.
I hve run all of the suggested programs plus my own security suite(eTrust),(trend micro kept freezing up,I have e-mailed them.)I did get some result whiched I fixes. However, I am still getting those pop-ups, anI do have 3 different pop-up blocker programs. I'm sure my nephew was was asked by my eTrust if he wanted to allow this pest and he did. Please help here is the hijackthis log:

Welcome to BC Larry

You are using Download Accelerator Plus - DAP.
Be informed that it delivers popup/popunder ads,and tracks your internet usage.
You can find safer alternatives here at SpywareInfo :
Software Recommendations:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php?cat=dlman#dlman
I strongly suggest you remove this program.
If you agree, go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove 'Download Accelerator Plus' if present, then reboot.

================

Download NoLop.exe to your desktop.

* First close any other programs you have running as this will require a reboot.
* Double click NoLop.exe to run it.
* Then click the button labelled "Search and Destroy".
* When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, click 'OK'.
* Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
* A Message should popup from NoLop, if not, double click the program again and it will finish.
Post the contents of C:\NoLop.log and a new Hijack This log into your next reply.

If you receive the error, that mscomctl.ocx or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered, please download this file to your 'System32' folder then rerun the program: http://www.boletrice.com/downloads/mscomctl.ocx
