After killing about 10 different trojans and spies...now left with what Norton picks up as an Adware.Qoolaid, in WINDOWS/SYSYEM32/gcuzzo.dll I unregistered the dll with regsvr32 /u, but i still cannot delete it. I see no bad running process. Delete with norton, and with safe mode both failed.
I cant find any evidence of Qoolaid in here...there is some alexa and google toolbar stuff, but I keep those for looking at my website with.

thanks for any input.

After trying to delete a file in safemode, in explorer and in cmd, and trying with norton, what is next?

Here is HJT:

Hi

When choosing anti-spyware protection, you should rely on products with deserved reputations and proven track records:
SpyKiller is a rogue anti-spy software.
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm
You can use these free programs: Ad-Aware SE, Spybot Search & Destroy + SpywareBlaster.
Please uninstall SpyKiller from Add\Remove Programs.

Run HijackThis!, press Scan, and put a check mark next to all these:

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [SpyKiller] C:\Program Files\SpyKiller\spykiller.exe /startup

This is a registration reminder that is used by a number of different companies. It is not needed and some experts think that it reports back to the company about your computer, so I suggest fixing it...
O4 - Startup: PowerReg SchedulerV2.exe

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

Delete this folder, if present:
C:\Program Files\SpyKiller\ <-- this folder

Download Find It NT-2K-XP.zip.

Unzip the contents of Find It NT-2K-XP.zip to a folder, for example c:\findit

Navigate to the c:\findit folder and double-click on find.bat.
A command prompt will open and it will search your computer for malicious files. Let it finish. It could take 5 - 10 minutes.

Once it has finished a Notepad window will pop up with output.txt.
Copy the entire contents of output.txt into your next post.
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?

Hi

Download KillBox here: KillBox. Unzip it to your desktop.

Disconnect from the internet.

Start Killbox and click on Tools --> Select Delete Temp Files. Click OK.

Select the Delete on reboot option.

Copy and paste the following file to the field labeled "Full path of file to delete"
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\phummw.exe

Press the Delete button (the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it).

A first dialog box will ask if you want to delete the file on reboot, press the YES button.

A second dialog box will ask you if you want to REBOOT now. Press the NO button.

Repeat steps above for these files:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\zepuub.dll

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ywuoor.exe

Copy and paste the following file to the field labeled "Full path of file to delete"
C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\STARTM~1\Programs\Startup\yhgppt.exe

Press the Delete button (the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it).

A first dialog box will ask if you want to delete the file on reboot, press the YES button.

A second dialog box will ask you if you want to REBOOT now. Press the YES button.

Your computer will reboot.

Run again Find.bat, HijackThis, and post the logs please.

Hi

Run HijackThis!, press Scan, and put a check mark next to all these:

O3 - Toolbar: Alexa - {3CEFF6CD-6F08-4e4d-BCCD-FF7415288C3B} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\SHDOCVW.DLL

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Narrator] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ywuoor.exe

Close all other windows and browsers, and press the Fix Checked button.

REBOOT your machine, run HijackThis! again and post a new log please.
Everyday is virus day. Do you know where your recovery CDs are ?
Did you create them yet ?
