Hello everyone! I'm considering installing either the yahoo or google toolbar. Is it worth it? Has anyone had problems with either one? I use firefox as my default browser. Any input would be appreciated. You'all have allready helped me quite a bit with security. Thanks to your forums I have installed Zone Alarms firewall, AVG anti-vir & anti-spy, Spybot S&D, Spywareblaster,CCleaner, CWshredder, ADAware,Windowsdefender, % SpySweeper.

This is just one Thread from the MozillaZine Forums about the Google Toolbar.

Sounds very problematic to me......
Why do you you need both?

Hey TMack, I checked out the MozillaZine forum. I wasn't actually planning on using both. I guess my question was unclear. I use Yahoo quite a bit but also was reading about google tool bar in PC magazine. Is either one worthwile to have? It doesn't sound like google bar is a good choice. Any body have experiences with either? Should I just leave well enough alone?

Have a look at the CNet Reviews of the Yahoo Toolbar.

I guess my question was unclear.

Actually it was very clear SLTtrucker. Sometimes my head is not!

Thanks TMack. I think I"ll stick with what I've got. Both toolbars sound like duplications of what Firefox & and my security apps allready do for me.
