Hey everyone, Im trying to help a friend out who doesnt have the net at the moment. When starting Outlook he gets this error message outret.msi After surfing around for an answer more or less Ive come up with the file missing is on the stand alone Outlook disk. Unfortunatley he ahs only ever had Office 2003 which he has tried to repair with no luck.
Any help would be grateful.

Hi Fozzie, I read that thread last night and he has neaver had a HP cd. I think this all ahd something to do with some mobile phone software he put on his computer a while ago. It might be easier to save his files and reinstall office.

It also seems to be a part of MS Office (Outlook in particular) from this link: http://gibsteruk.wordpress.com/2006/08/11/outretmsi-2/
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
