Hardware Acceleration

I have tried the sliders pushing them to full acceleration, but still when i go into my games, it says about requiring Hardware acelleration... problem may be that it doesnt seem to think a sound card or video card are plugged in... but they are

Which games? What version of windows? What graphics card and sound card do you have?
