I just bought a 64-bit dual-core with 2 gb HP laptop.

I have an Epson Stylus Photo 875DC printer that I have had for years and really love. The XP driver loads and the printer will even print a 'test' page but when I try to print from any document (Word, etc) it does nothing. It shows that it 'spooled' and printed but nothing really happens.

I also have a Logitech webcam (4000) which cost me over $100 and it won't work either. The website suggests I purchase a 5000 series camera (go figure!).

Does anyone have workarounds for these driver problems?

Try running the installer as an Administrator and also in XP SP2 compatibility mode.
