What steps are you doing when you install/uninstall the drivers?

When installing drivers, I find it best to download the new drivers, uninstall the old drivers, restart the computer, then install the new drivers. TBH, I've never had a problem with Nvidia drivers, so this is kind of of baffling!

Oh, and you should be following the Geforce series (the ones with "TNT" that follows, just ignore the TNT part!)

You can try to install the drivers manually.

Go to control panel>System> Go to the hardware tab>Device manager>Display adapters> right click and update drivers. Then when it brings up the dialog box on how to find the drivers, navigate to wherever you saved them to, and click ok. If that doesn't work, come back and tell us.

The GeForce Go series are laptop graphics cards. For normal desktop graphics cards you want the GeForce and TNT2 option.
