I am sorry if this question has already been asked, but I have a dell Inspriron Laptop and a few months ago it was running really slowly- that has now been fixed thankfully, but I am now left with the problem of the screen resolution size being just bigger then 800 by 600.

I have rung dell about this and they want to charge me about 40 for them to fix it and I was wondering if I wiped the PC and then load the driver etc back on would this fix the problem?

Any suggests would be helpful!

Thanks

Amanda

on your desktop
right click anything that is not an icon. choose properties (bottom option)
choose the settings tab (on top, to the far right)
see the slider in the middle of the window.
slide that bad boy left if you want bigger everything and right if you want smaller everything. (it will not do anything until you hit apply, then click the OK button before time runs out)
if this makes your screen totally unviewable, wait 15 seconds for it to revert.
