Hi: New to the group. My question is can the Easy Transfer in the new Vista transfer from Windows ME? All the write-up are for XP. If not, any suggestions for a novice?
Also, I have a nice 20" monitor, so I wasn't going to order another. When transferring, will I need to buy/borrow another monitor to see both pc's display? Thanks

Unfortunately Windows Easy Transfer does not support Windows ME. It only supports XP, Vista, and 2000 with SP4.

The only way to move your data will be manually, though we can help you with that.

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I'll borrow a second monitor and maybe look at using PCMover software.
