Monitor Making High Pitched Buzzing Noise

not to sure where else to put this but i just got in and my monitor started making a high pitched buzzing sound will stop when i turn it off but as soon as it goes back on then it starts up again. i was thinking of getting a new one anyway because this one is older but was hoping to wait a month or two. any suggestions??

Ours did that when the Resolution was turned up a bit high - drop the resolution down a couple of notches and see if it goes away - It means the monitor is on the way out....
