Hi All,
I want to upgrade my graphic card drivers, in the hope of eventually installing Vista. I've had a look at Bleeping Computer's very informative tutorial, however, it doesn't say whether you have to uninstall the old drivers. I would be very grateful for any advice.
Thanks in advance.

I'm no expert, but upgrading drivers to function with Vista might mean that your current OS would not function properly.

Thanks for your reply, Orange Blossom. Sorry for the confusion.....there is a driver update available for my graphic card, which will work with my XP system, this also means that I will have the latest drivers when/if I upgrade to Vista. So, do you know if I have to uninstall the old drivers first?

No need to upgrade your drivers in anticipation of upgrading to Vista. Once you upgrade to Vista, you'll need to install the Vista versions of the drivers anyway.

Vista will install generic video drivers when it installs. Then you can go to the manufacturer of your video card and download the Vista drivers from there.
