Need Help: Error Message When Installing

I was installing the Ulitmate version of Vista and then it was almost done or maybe it was done but popped up the message "Windows Error Recovery" Can anyone help as to what I need to do?

Nope thats all it said, and it said something about going back to XP, or Vista and when I click Vista it just keeps rebooting the computer and if you don't do it by 25 seconds it will reboot over and over and over.

Have you tried to recover to XP?

No not yet, I am not at home right now, but should I try that and re-instal Vista??

I will not have to redownload the file will I? I use the Microsoft Locker deal, will it just be a basic install or a whole complete redownload and install?

I will be honest I am not 100% sure. You purchased and downloaded vista from the Windows Marketplace? What kind of file is it?

I've seen one problem like this that was caused by an incompatible NIC card on a laptop. Have you checked the compatibility of your devices at the Windows Marketplace?
My browser caused a flood of traffic, sio my IP address was banned. Hope to fix it soon. Will get back to posting as soon as Im able.
