Help Needed Please!! :thumbsup:

If anyone can help me with this problem I have with Kodak Easyshare I would be truly grateful. I have had to wipe my computer ( on the advice of HP phone support ) because I have been unable to burn music using my sonic program and windows media program. After doing so, I reinstalled what other software I had and sorted out my outlook express etc. So everything was working fine ( except I STILL cannot burn music )….Anyway, getting to the point.

After I wiped the computer and installed my other software, I opened the Kodak Easyshare program and it was working fine, that is until I tried to print a photo.

I get the following message: ( this is only the beginning of the message - as I don’t know how to copy and paste the info from an error message box )

XML PARSING ERROR

Buttons.xml:13:error Entity ‘Toolbar_BTN_X_OFFSET’ not defined
< Vector Offset x = “&TOOLBAR_BTN_OFFSET;”y = “0”/>

Buttons.xml:44:error Entity ‘HELP_BTN_OFFSET’ not defined
Layout = “true”x = “&HELP_BTN_OFFSET;”

Buttons.xml:58:error: chunk is not well balanced
</group control>
Skin.xml:20:error:Entity Value Required
& printathome_buttons;

Buttons.xml:13:error Entity ‘TOOLBAR_BTN_X_OFFSET’ not defined
< Vector Offset x = “&TOOLBAR_BTN_OFFSET;”y = “0”/>

Buttons.xml:44:error Entity ‘HELP_BTN_OFFSET’ not defined

Layout = “true”x = “&HELP_BTN_OFFSET;” y =“0”

This message pops up twice and then easyshare closes…

I know nothing of computers and anyone who can help, I would be very grateful.

Another message i got about this problem was as follows:

Error Signature

AppName: easyshare
AppVer:5.2.30.84 ModName:Kernel32.dll
ModVer:5.1.2600.2945 offset:00012a5b

Many thanks, gypsygirl

What you could do is remove all XML documents from the day the error appeared and onwards and re-install the Kodak software again. Whilst installing you might want to uncheck Camera Mounter

START SEARCH ANY TYPE OF FILE ADVANCED OPTIONS FILE TYPE AND GO FOR XML FILE CHANGED THE DAY THE ERROR HAPPENED. After that you can delete them reboot and try again
