:flowers: Hi Swas

I dont know of a totally free fax program, but in the UK you can only send fax via your computer using a dial up modem. However, if your computer has a 56k modem installed, you will no doubt find on the driver installation disc for the modem a free to use fax program.

Hope this helps

Tony.

Try the search engines. There are plenty of free fax services/software out there. The only problem will probably be is that you won't get a fax no# of your area or choice, unless you pay for it.

As far as cable is concerned, if you have it, then that's even better. You'll have a faster transmission and faster Internet than dialup and dsl.

But, worse comes to worst, invest $13 per month and use efax. You can find them at:
http://www.efax.com

I've been using them for about 2 years now, and it's a great service.

What I do if I need to send out the rare fax is to go to a copy shop that has faxing services. I think I've had to send out a grand total of 3 in the past 10 years. The cost is quite reasonable under the circumstances.
