Should you clear event viewer and if so how often? Should event viewer even be running and if not how do I shut it down. I just looked at mine and there is a lot of stuff some with red and some with yellow but most okay.

Layback Bear: There is really no need to clear your Event Viewer log files. By default, the maximum size of a log is 512KB, and events will start to be overwritten once they are older than 7 days. If you do start having issues with your computer, it is a great place to help find the cause of your problem. I would leave this feature alone.

Hope that helps.
