I get an error message come up all the time as follows:-

(Now I do not even have Internet Explorer open when this message comes up)

It's in a box


Windows Internet Explorer


Cannot find 'http:///. Make sure the path or internet address is correct

OK



Click on ok......click on red X to close but it reapears all the time!

Some of the things I have tried are:-

Run Spybot, Lavasoft Ad-aware, Spy Zooka, Pest Patrol - All are clean

NOD32 Anti virus program - Clean

Cleaned out tempory internet files

Reset Internet Explorer

Cleaned the registry using registry mechanic, jv power tools. clean

Scoured the internet trying to find a solution!!!

Problem has been solved. Did not have any nasties! Don't really know how the problem came about however used msconfig and checked off all the items then painstakinlgy rechecked them one at a time with computer restarts in between until I found where the problem file was....deleted it and no more trouble since!!
