On the 24th, 20th Century Fox served a subpoena to YouTube demanding the identity of the user who uploaded recent episodes of 24 and the Simpson. The subpoena was granted on the basic of the DMCA act by the US District Court for the Northern District of California. Aside from copyrighted material being uploaded it seems that episodes of this season's 24 were uploaded to YouTube prior to the seasons premiere. YouTube, since its inception, has had problems with copyrighted material being uploaded to it's site making people wonder if it was a wise purchase by Google.
