I am a medical transcriptionist and have to go through a secure site where the password changes every 1 minute. I recently updated to IE7. This problem started though about 1 week after I updated. The secure site I sign into refreshes every minute. I understand this is how it should be, but before it did it in the background and did not affect me. Now it does it where I have to stop and click to go back to the program I am typing in, which is either Word or the hospital program. I make money on how fast I am. Having to stop every minute is not very productive for me. I am running windows XP home. I am thinking it is a very simple tweek of some sort, but have run out of ideas. I would appreciate any thoughts.

Thank you!

Hi jbksek and Welcome to Bleeping Computer,

Go to Tools/Internet Options/click on the Security Tab/Security Settings.
Scroll down to Allow META Refresh and click on the disable radio button.
This will refresh about every four minutes.

Thanks TMack,

I tried that already. I will try it again though. Maybe it did not take the first time. I may have to end up reloading their program. Seems to be the easy answer.

Thanks again.

Heres a longshot...did you confirm the change by clicking the Okay button?
