Trayhook.dll File Is Missing?

Hi I'm not very good with computers so bare with my ignorance please :thumbsup:.

When starting my computer is comes up with 2 different error messages.

One says Required .DLL file is missing................ It says its TRAYHOOK.DLL

the other one comes up twice once when computer boots up and after you click OK it pop up once more.

It says couldnt find the file. ibm00025.exe

i have no idea what these mean and if they are messing up my computer cuz i am having other issues as we

well but i am asking them one at a time.


Any help is appreciated and any help that gives a soution is MUCH appreciated..

Maybe these will help.

You can download the Trayhook.dll file from here:
http://www.dynamiclink.nl/htmfiles/info_dll/info_t/524.htm

It's description is a PowerDesk Tray Hook. I found that info here:

Hopefully that'll get you fixed up.

I'm not in depth with the PowerDesk at all, but the info above should get you started.

Post bask if you have any problems or concerns.

I have a question to follow that up.......... How do i install that file, i kno im a computer idiot ha ha

You may want to post a hijack this log as you have malware on your comp.

Still i am searching for how to download a .DLL file.

My advice is to get the malware issues taken care of first. That may clear up your other issues. Once you have posted the Hijack This log, be patient, and wait for the Hijack This expert to reply with instructions.

Okay i posted a hijack log and tha ever so lovely people there helped

me to find out i had more then jus that one i was infected a couple times

Now i need to install my trayhook.dll file. If anyone kno how to install

that once you have downloaded it your help is much appreciated.
