Recently my computer has been slow and using 100% cpu with only maybe 10 - 15 internet pages open. When I click shutdown I get a pop up message saying Program not responding but the name of the program is a long string of Chinese characters! Another pop up is just .exe i.e. no name .exe. Scares the willies out of me. Avast anti virus found nothing nor did System Mechanic nor did Ad-aware. Please help!

Have you downloaded and installed the advanced text languages in the control panel under regional and language settings?

Just to rule out the possibility that its not malware, I would do a free online scan from the following

Hope this helps
