Hi I hate spyware!

Welcome to BC

First, create a folder for HijackThis in the root folder of your hard drive so it can make proper backups

example

C:/HJT
C:/hijackthis

-----------------------------------------

Click here to download Hijack This. Save it to the folder you have just created
Close all open windows and open HIJACK THIS. Click “Scan”[/b] . When the scan is finished (it only takes a second), the scan button will change to“Save Log”. Click on“Save Log” and save it to NotePad. Copy the entire log and paste it here.

DO NOT FIX ANYTHING YET , most items that appear in the log are harmless or even needed. Wait for someone to analyze the scan and advise.

You should uninstall messenger plus from add/remove programs in the control panel. It is known to install malware.

First, Click on start, settings, control panel and double-click on add/remove programs. From with add/remove program uninstall the following if they exist:

Window Search
Win Tools
WindowsSA
Search Assistant
IESearch
Windows Search Assistant

When uninstalling you wil prompted to insert a security code. Please do so and reboot when done.

If you do not see thsee two programs in your Add/Remove programs then download and run both of these uninstallers:

http://lop.com/new_uninstall.exe
http://lop.com/toolbar_uninstall.exe

Then I want you to fix some of those entries. Please do the following:

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then click the Fix button

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Sysdpt] c:\windows\system32\sysdpt.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [flawtick] C:\PROGRA~1\BURNME~1\wipelitefast.exe
O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/317d159a020176...ip/RdxIE601.cab

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode and delete the following files:

Then delete these

c:\windows\system32\sysdpt.exe

Disable System Restore. You can find instructions on how to enable and reenable system restore here:

Managing Windows Millenium System Restore
or

Windows XP System Restore Guide

Renable system restore with instructions from tutorial above

Reboot your computer to go back to normal mode and post a new log.

Safe mode makes it easier for us to remove the infections by not loading certain programs when the computer boots
