hi
I would appreciate any help I could get

My monitor will work in safe mode and safe mode with networking, but when I boot up in normal mode there are lines in the microsoft logo and then the monitor will shut down.

card is Nvidia geforce3 ti 500

Is this something that just started? Has it worked fine before? Either it's a power issue or a bad card issue. Do you have the most recent drivers installed for it? It works in safe mode because it doesn't load the drivers for the video card. Do you have another video card that you could replace this one with to rule out a bad card?
