My computer has done weird lately.
At the startup, all memory is full.
Outlook startup takes a very long time, sometime fails, aborts, gives me errors or anything like it.
Same goes for some other programs.
Not a real problem for one of the programs, but all together makes me suspicious.
I think i might have a virus, but i cant find any...

I made a HijackThis log,
Hopefully someone can see whether or not my comp is infected:

There aint so many lines to fix in Hijackthis,

We need to disable SpyBot/Teatimer as it may interfere with this fix !

1) Run Spybot-S&D
2) Go to the Mode menu, and make sure "Advanced Mode" is selected
3) On the left hand side, choose Tools -> Resident
4) Uncheck "Resident TeaTimer" and OK any prompts
You can reenable TeaTimer once your system is clean.

Please open Hijackthis and check this line:

O16 - DPF: {E055C02E-6258-40FF-80A7-3BDA52FACAD7} - http://activex.matcash.com/speedtest2.dll

Please close all other windows and browsers except Hijackthis and click fix checked.

The Beveiliging folder in C:\Program Files\Beveiliging , is this something you created?

Reboot and post a new Hijackthis log

Hello and thanks for posting the Hijackthis log.

Your log looks clean, how is your computer running?

Did you install PartyPoker or is it unwanted?

Computer is fine, Outlook still wont work... guess it's damaged.
Finding the install cd and reïnstall it will repair that I guess...

Party Poker got installed by someone else. I tried to remove it, but I (like you) noted that it is still on the hijack log.
I removed the map from C:\program files hence it isn't placed there. I did so after the program wouldn't uninstall with its own tools.
Software list or unistall by RUN would do any good either...

If you got an idea then you're more then welcome.
check it on hijack and fix maybe? you're the expert...

Good to know that I dont have a virus this time...

Ok, party gaming was removed, wasnt any problem

Outlook still sucks bum: CPU gets to 100% the moment I click the icon of Outlook
Memory usage creates virtual space almost to a double of its normal max (1250 to 2100MB)

While Outlook is working the CPU lowers to 2% - 7% which is fine. But mem usage stays at 2000+
Which brings difficulties to startup other programs...
Moment of exit Mem usage drops to 200

I find it strange though, I removed all plug-ins (Spam), I repaired Outlook once
Then made a total reïnstall for office... Still same problem... Maybe its one of the e-mails...
Ill try to remove all of them this night. see if it will do any good... Im still open for ideas...

It found a security vulnerability on ASP.NET path validation (887219).
Could get 'repaired' manually,
Didn't find any spyware, malware or anything tough..

real errors do not occur. The problem lies with Outlook (or it's plugins?)
(maybe other apps too, but I haven't run into any problems with anything else)

It uses an excessive amount of memory: While monitoring a Outlook startup at a random computer, Memory usage stays around 400 MB.

However, at my 'normal' PC Outlook requires maximum memory and even creates virtual space. Up to 2100 MB.

Because (?) of this, the startup of Outlook takes up to 2 minutes + other programs can't run beside Outlook. That ain't normal by my knowledge and it's very annoying...

I recommend you regularly visit the Windows Update Site, your lagging behind on
a few of them!
Lots of Hacking/Trojans use the security holes in programs which are not updated. Update your machine, and they have one less helper, and you have one less headache!
Update ALL Critical updates and any other Windows updates for services/programs that you use.
You may find it easier to have windows automatically update!

You can enable Automatic Updates under Start -> Control Panel -> Automatic Updates (Not recommended for dialup users)
Note that it will download them for you, but you still have to actually click install.
Of course, you can always download updates separately at: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Tools:

Prevention
SpywareBlaster - Great prevention tool to keep nasties from installing on your system.
SpywareGuard - Works as a Spyware "Shield" to protect your computer from getting malware in the first place.
IE-SpyAd - puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.

Detect and Removal
Spybot Search & Destroy- Uber powerful tool which can search and annhilate nasties that make it onto your system. Now with an Immunize section that will help prevent future infections.
AdAware - Another very powerful tool which searches and kills nasties that infect your system. AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy compliment each other very well.

Here is some free antiviruses:
AVG makes an excellent free antivirus client, as do AntiVir or avast!.

Please make sure to run your antivirus software regularly, and to keep it up-to-date.

Here is some free firewalls. Firewall is important to protect against hackers and trojans:
ZoneAlarm, Kerio, or
Outpost
A tutorial on understanding and using firewalls may be found here.
