After trying about 3 flash drives into my computer i finaly relized that my computer has somehow been ruining them. Each one i've put in pops up the error that it has malfunctioned, and the flash drive becomes unusable. Does anyone know what would cause this? I custom built my computer so i have to wonder if i did something wrong when connecting the wires and stuff. Thanks you for your help!

If you miswired the USB port it could fry a memory stick.

I'd agree with dc3 on this one. For now, I'd break out your manual for your motherboard, go back and and double check every wire that's plugged into it.

War produces veterans, wounded both physically and mentally. They have sacrificed for us.....and it is now our job to help these veterans, as they have already helped us in ways we will never know, in ways that we cannot fathom, and in ways that we take granted every day.
