I have acquired a file which, when scanned, turned out to be infected by "Win32.worm.VB.Ymeak.A" .
I immediately tried to delete it, but all I get is 'Cannot read from the source file od disk'
I've tried renaming it, changing attributes, moving it - to no avail
BullGuard, the security prog that came with the computer keeps telling me it has blocked this "worm", ad-aware, spybot and BitDefender tell me everything is fine with nothing to report.
Any ideas on what my next steps should be?
If it's there, I want rid!

How to delete anything:

I suggest you post a log for a malware expert to advise you of any further steps you may need to take to be sure your computer's security is not compromised.

Have you checked the folder's Properties?
Right click the folder, and select Properties.
Make sure it's not set to Read-only.
If it is, uncheck it, click Apply, and click OK.
Now try to delete it.
