Hi All

I have seen threads on how to strengthen your security level on IE but can anyone give me some tips on how to do similar things with Firefox.

Regards

Martin

Firefox is really quite secure in its out-of-the-box installation, but there are some articles on how to tweak some things specific to security over here. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Category:Privacy_and_security

I also recommend using the program Spyware Blaster, because that will not only immunize IE from a huge list of known vulnerabilities, but also block tracking cookies from caching into Firefox. http://javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

I also recommend the Adblock Plus plugin and subscribing to a bunch of filter lists, I have five loaded and I never see a single advertisement. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1865/

Thanks

I downloaded spyware blaster a couple of days ago after advice from another thread. I have ad block plus plugin but i will check the other filter lists. This is the main reason i changed to firefox. I was sick of all them adverts i got on AOL. And thanks for the link on the tweaks.

Regards Martin
