I have had t0 reinstall my complete XP pro system on my computer thanks to my son downloading a million viruses. I have done the installation and downloaded all the latest upgrades from microsoft . However I have a problem with my PCI bus I get the yellow question mark beside the other devices in device manager and beside multimedia audio controller and beside two entries for PCI simple communications controller. When I check properties for these items i get driver not installed (code 28) I have no CD for my pci or sound device and when I try to install drivers I get unable to find drivers . can an IT wiz out there give me some clues???

If you can find out the make and model of the hardware, you can go to their homepage and download drivers from there. If the device manager won't give you details, you can try winaudit or everest.
