Wondering if any one has some insight on what to do, other day I was deleting some old games on my computer and did a virus scan, after I did the scan and some other work and next day and I turned on the computer it came to the xp recovery console. The only options it gives me is three different file names.

C:/windows, D:/167ibde, and D:/ebldet.

if i just type exit the computer reboots but it comes right back to the recovery console.

If I choose to enter c:/windows it asks for admin password, (i don't recall every setting one up, so I have no idea what it would be)

Last night somehow I was able to get to a regular c:/ prompt but I have no idea how to get it to reboot to windows. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

If you never set a password just leave that box blank and press the <Enter> key.
