I have to comps e-machines and windows xp. Now if I were to take the hard drive from the other computer and place it in another one would I be able to get more memory in my second hard drive?

If you formatted the second drive and slaved it to your other PC than you would be able to have more storage capacity. Adding another hard drive doesn't increase memory. Only adding additional memory sticks will increase memory.
